Re-Development Update April / May 2012
Re-deveploment UpdateThe re-development has gone slower than we anticipated at this point – the developer has concentrated on getting the flats mostly finished first, but rest assured our new clubhouse will be completed very soon.
We are sorry for giving the dates of April / May (we really were hoping for these dates) - due to bad weather over the winter and other delays etc, the builders are still around six to several weeks behind schedule - but we still are very hopeful at opening later on this year.
They have now taken down the scaffolding from around the flats – this means they can now finish off completing our roof, soon to be followed by all the inside bits like the fittings etc of the bar (which is currently being designed) and the toilets etc.
For those who still wish to purchase an Inter – Affiliation ticket for this year – you can do so by either writing to the Club address or emailing the Secretary – click on our contact us page for details.
Just to clarify as we have had a few queries on this matter: YES you can send letters to the club address – we will get them - they get redirected to us at home.

For 2012 you will be able to use your Membership Card from last year as it has no expiry date, we will be sending letters out before Christmas to explain this.
On the second page of the letter, you will find a detachable slip, please fill this in and return to the Club if you need a new membership card due to loss or damage to the old one.
You can also use this slip to advise us that you would like to order a 2012 Inter – Affiliation card, as these will need to be ordered by the Secretary.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Also now featuring on this website is Mr Rob Olins, proposed designs for the artwork.
He is the artist that has been selected by Cresta Homes to creat the Public Art Work for us – the designs will feature on the outside walls of our Club House and on the windows to the main stairwell to the flats.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------On this site you will also find some copies of the plans and drawings for the layout of the new Club house, they have changed many times over the duration of this project, but we hope you will like final outcome.
